Frölunda Torg shopping centre in Göteborg has recently completed a massive expansion. At least doubling the number of shops to around 200. This map was redesign to take into account the expansion. The map was primarily used in the printed information pamphlets, but with the expansion it was becoming difficult to locate the required shop among so many.
So we decided to split each floor into three coloured sections, six colours in all. These colours where then added to the shop names. It was then much easier to find the general area of the shops location, and also to pinpoint it.
